As the creator of the blog, "you" may not need it.

You audience has the option to listen to your posts as an mp3 automagically.

Audio podcasts may be useful, but depends on who reads your blog and who could benefit from such an assistive technology.

I've often listened to my own "podcasts" to make sure the grammar works and the spelling is correct.
