Re: Should profanity be allowed in Posts?

I am strongly opposed to swearing. I don't think you should write it in your post or even say it out loud

Re: Should profanity be allowed in Posts?

That's thoughtful. I'm shocked you asked to use profanity in a catholic school.

Catholics know a lot of swears, too.

I wonder what the non-catholics are writing on their finals?

Re: Should profanity be allowed in Posts?

That's a good question. It could go both ways. They could be swearing because they are non-Catholic. Or they could not be swearing because they could get in trouble.

Well, really they could be doing anything, but from the people in Jr. i knwo they wouldn't be swearing.

Re: Should profanity be allowed in Posts?

Well Derek, this topic could go either way and i do not think profanity should be aloud because some posts would get out of hand.

Re: Should profanity be allowed in Posts?

I think that I should be allowed to, because I am literally talented enough to make swears/curses effective writing tools.

Re: Should profanity be allowed in Posts?

well i am going to agree with garrett, that some topics would get very out of hand.

Re: Should profanity be allowed in Posts?

When it comes to our school writing, I think that we should be able to use profanity to a certain extent. By a certain extent I mean the occasional swear, if every second word that you write is a swear word that is obviously unacceptable for the school work.

Re: Should profanity be allowed in Posts?

It really depends on what you would use in posts. In some cases, swears or minor curses make the idea of that part of the story more emotional however, like Garrett and Cody has said, this can get out of hand. =-)
