Topic: The Shack, by WM. Paul Young
A man named Mack, who lost his daughter to a kidnapper and whose body was never found, couldn't escape the sadness within him, even after seven years. He found a note in the mail, inviting him to come to the shack where his daughter's dress had been found seven years ago. The note was signed "Papa" which was the name his wife liked to use for God. Mack ended up going, and he found the old shack, which was empty, but as he was walking away, the place transformed and the shack turned into a beautiful cabin. He met God there, in the form of the Father, who actually appeared as a woman, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit, who also appeared as a woman. Mack liked them all, but had trouble accepting that they were God, or even accepting God in the first place. Mack felt abandoned by God because his daughter had to die, and in that way. I think it would be amazing to have the chance to be with God like that, but it must have been hard for Mack, considering what he'd been through.
