Topic: Eagle Strike- Anthony Horowitz

The book started off in the Southern Mediterranean where the Protagonist ,Alex Rider,  is on vacation with some friends when he spots the boat of the man that killed his uncle. Alex feels as though he can never escape danger. Even though he is on vacation and that the killer probably doesn't know that he's there he still fells as though he should know what he is up to. Alex overheard a conversation that the killer was having on the phone that related to his next victim. I can relate to what happened that night when Alex and his friend Sabina were watching the sunset and a helicopter and police car rushed by. They followed the units to their holiday home where they discovered that it had been blown up. Motivated by fury Alex ran back to where the Killer's boat was located. He quickly disarmed the man on the dock and made his way onto the boat where he found the killer and held a gun to his head. However the boat boy grabbed Alex from behind where he was interrogated by the crew members.

Yassen had decided Alex's fate. Alex was to participate in a bullfight if he did not die in the ring he would soon after be shot by One of Yassen's men. Amazingly Alex escaped but flinging a sword into the shoulder of one of Yassen's men. Eventually he made his way back to England where he found himself back in his old life of being a fourteen year old boy. Him and Sabina met up for lunch where he explained everything that had happened to him in the last couple years. Amazingly enough she didn't believe any of it and he found himself attempting to show her the office of the agency.

After Sabina left in fury, because she thought that Alex had lied to her. Alex was greeted by Mrs. Jones (one of the head people working at the agency) and she lead him into the M16 headquarters where Mr. Blunt was waiting for them. After a long heated discussion about what had happened in the South of France Alex left full of anger that they had not believed him. Arriving at home he discovered a gift outside his front door. It was a bicycle made especially for him with certain attachments manufactured for a spy.
