Re: The Summer That Made Us By: Robyn Carr
In October 2016, on an nice fall morning Meg passed away. Throughout the whole book Meg had been struggling with breast cancer. Meg was a trooper, she was brave, strong and held through with medications, and transplants for over a year. All of Meg’s family and friends gathered at the lake to celebrate her. A couple months later everyone was living a good life and they thanked Meg for that, Meg helped them realize that family is important and that you never know what will happen so all you got to do is live your best life now. I really enjoyed this book and I would read it again. I recommend this book because it teaches how important it is to be kind to others and how important family is. I want to be strong and brave just like Meg and encourage others others too.
